"MEMORIES"

Last night my sister called looking for some information. While I was going through boxes and drawers, I found some really special things. I'm one of those people who saves everything, and believes you can never take too many photos!I come by this naturally...the above photo is of my very 1st paper in 1st grade in 1960- (that's my Mom's writing on the top!) Rick and I were married in 1979. It's hard to believe that this year will be our 29th Anniversary. He really is the love of my life and best friend!Photo of the boys, 1987.

These Mother's Day cards are so precious to me-it's funny because each one of their personalities shows through in their poems.
(Anyone but a Mother might be insulted by the first couple lines of the above card!)

I look at this photo and wonder where the time went!

Hi Nancy,
29 years?? There were times that you probably too and I for certain thought that 29 was old! ( I met my husband in '79). Let alone that you could have done something for that long. It still is amazing.

I keep everything too and why not? Those letters from your boys, they're just priceless. I love to share (your) memories!

What precious memories. I saved tons of my kids things too, and I have to ration myself looking at it all --makes me weepy because they're getting so grown up now. (and don't even ask about how I get when I look at our old videos.:)
Blessings to you!
Cathy

How neat is that, Nancy. Memories, we all have so many and when we come across photos and papers...

Well, it is like stepping back in time, to that very second.

So very neat indeed, Thank you for sharing.

You pictures are wonderful.~Tonya

Hi Nancy!
We must be about the same age! I won't tell..:) I just loved your wedding photo...how beautiful and your son's poetry is such a gift. I have two sons, both teens now...had mine a little later in life than you did. I kept a few of their early writings too. Just treasures! Thanks for sharing! Will have to hunt up mine soon.

oh Nancy, I love seeing your early art! My Mim tucked some of mine away in her bible, and the one that stands out most in my mind is (surprise surprise) the drawing of a dog...white w/ black spots (dalmation?) complete w/ stick legs. hehe!

I love seeing the photos of you and Rick and your little guys. Oh what a nice family you have, and your sweet little boys have grown up to be such handsome and good hearted men! You have 3 very lucky dil's!
Where does the time go?

Isn't it fun to get out things from the past and look at them? Thanks for sharing! Your boys remind me of mine. I have some pictures of my older 3 boys posed in the same way as your boys. Your sons are very handsome!
