Oh my gosh, I completely forgot that I was participating in the "Show Me Your Dolls" challenge put on by Lori. So, since I'll be gone all day today, I'm posting this photo of a couple of my favorite small dolls. I wanted to show you the ones from when I was a little girl...everything about them is just like it was the day I got them;(they even have their little hairnets on yet). That's because I use to play with my sister's dolls, and "save" mine! Not very nice of me, I know, and I really feel guilty about that now - but there really is some logic behind this. I lived in fear of the older Murray boys down the street coming by and biting the fingers off my dolls like they did with my sisters dolls ---I decided dolls weren't leaving my bedroom!

Hi! I love your dolls. Are these dollhouse dolls? And did I understand you correctly that you are going to show us your 'good as new' dolls in the very near future? ;-D
I'm looking forward to it! LOL

Nancy, thanks for playing and showing us your sweet little dolls:) guess what the boys down the street did to MY sister's doll...oh those boys were bad...they cut off her hair and re~glued it into other areas so that she looked as if she were well into her puberty if you get my drift...oh my poor sissy was heart~broken...

How terrible of those boys to do that! You were a good mommy to your dolls. I'd like to see what your sister's dolls look like now.
Sounds like they had a rough time.

Nancy, what a nice surprise when I was browsing through the Dolly Day blogs to visit and I ended up here. I get your newletter and I am such a fan of your beautiful designs. These dolls are beautiful and how nice to still have the dolls you played with when you were small. Never mind about those mean boys, your memories are still lovely and whole. Karen
