Sweet little Mourning Doves!

Earlier this morning, the Mother Dove was sitting in the nest, keeping her sweet little babies warm in the rain. I just looked recently, and these wee ones were all huddled together, with Mom nowhere in sight!

I love to watch the mourning doves that come to our back porch. I had never seen babies before! They are precious!

Many morning doves come to my bird feeder everyday, but I've never seen a morning dove nest or babies -- thanks for this sweet photo!

We have a nest of baby blue birds in a bird box on my porch. All the bird-books say that blue birds rarely nest so near to a building. Apparently our birds haven't done a lot of reading.

Love this picture Nancy. The doves almost look too big for the next now...

We have a bird nest with robins in it. So sweet.

Have a great day.
