The Peony Capital of the World.....

I'm not sure there is anything prettier than a peony bush in full bloom! I have about 15 different plants, in a variety of colors, and every one is my favorite!

Faribault is known for it's peony farms, and had a Peony Festival in earlier days- I thought this was a neat postcard!
Who wouldn't want to be a "Peony Queen"?!

I love peonies too. Over here we can have these rainshowers that put all peonies down, but yours apparantly don't know these 'showers'! Too bad we cannot smell them, it's time that Bill Gates cs. come up with something so we can smell through our computers! Enjoy your peonies!

I adore Peonies, I used to have them at our country house, but after we moved away, I hardly ever see them. They are so wonderful! The smell of a peony is intoxicating. We do have a framers market each summer that you can get get a nice bouquet, yours are stunning! I would love to have several varieties again some day. Thanks for sharing them. :)
