I love the piano. I took lessons from the time I was about 8 years old all the way through my sophmore year of college. It's been a long time since I've played, and I sometimes wonder how quickly I'd pick it up again.
At Mayo Clinic, they have a piano in the atrium area of the Gonda building that anyone can play. I've spent my fair share of time between appointments listening to a variety of pianists, but I've never seen anything as wonderful as the couple in the video below!
It's just so cool to see these two people, who have been married for 62 years, have so much fun together. The older you get, the more you realize life goes by so quickly. I think it's so important to find joy in the simple things, and live for the moment......and I think this couple is a fine example!
