37 years ago today, my husband and I went on our first date! It was Homecoming weekend at the college I was attending, he picked me up in his red, 1968 Chevy Impala, and we ate lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. (he had a grilled ham & cheese sandwich and I had soup.)
I remember thinking that he could be the "one".
He was.....and always will be.
We stopped at the restaurant about 10 years ago and our son snapped this photo! Hard to believe the place is still there.
