I still have the doll I'm holding (2nd from right) in the above photo, and she looks like the day I got her. (My Sisters will tell you it's because I played with their dolls and "saved" mine-and I have to admit, there's some truth to that!)
Below are a couple of photos of my early Christmases. The first photo was taken in 1958. I am the 1st one on the left. And this photo was about 4 years later, when we had 6 girls and one boy- (my youngest brother was born a couple of years later).

ahhh, sisters! I wish I thought of playing with my sister's dolls. . .but she wasn't into Barbie like I was.
Nancy it is your bride doll!!!! That is so funny that you saved your but played with your sisters. That made me smile. Paula also got a nun doll one year when she was like a Junior in High School and because of that doll she wanted to be a nun that whole year. We were not even Catholic! I love your pictures! So cute and it reminds me of simple times. Thanks for sharing! Tammie

OMG..I had a bride dolly just like that my daddy got me. Wish I had all my dollys from then.
What great pictures..you had a big family too! There were 6 of us. 4 boys and 2 girls.
